Property Manager of the Year and Community Manager of the Year Awarded to EPMI, a Bayside Company.

OAKLAND, CA – November 27, 2012 – The California Apartment Association once again distinguishes EPMI, a Bayside Company as an industry leader during two separate awards ceremonies, which awarded top‐leading property management professionals for their outstanding accomplishments throughout the year.

Senior Portfolio Manager, Brandi Hutchinson, proudly accepted the award on behalf of Westgate Gardens Apartments, which was recognized Community of the Year for the greater Fresno area. Westgate Gardens is a 100 unit multifamily apartment community for low income individuals and their families. “Going Above and Beyond is what we do best,” said Hutchinson, Senior Portfolio Manager for EPMI, a Bayside Company. “We provide many services to our residents on a weekly
basis and network with other agencies and entities to make us even stronger,” said Hutchinson. Westgate Gardens has achieved many accomplishments throughout the year, to include, a successful Tax Credit inspection with zero findings, and has significantly exceeded its projected NOI to date. Services to the residents at Westgate Gardens Apartments include after school programs, classes on nutrition and computer literacy, summer and spring youth programs and more.

Also this year, the CAA awarded EPMI, a Bayside Company Property Manager of the Year during the CAA San Diego Mission Awards, and gave recognition to Ana Lidia Flores for her outstanding leadership at Woodglen Vista, a 188 unit multifamily community owned by Jamboree Housing Corporation, for low‐income individuals and their families. “Ana‐Lidia, as the leader of the EPMI staff at Woodglen Vista, helps promote Jamboree’ s mission by providing quality affordable housing opportunities for families that feature well maintained homes, attractive amenities, and free on site services and programs that meet the needs of our residents,” said Mary Jo Goelzer, COO of Jamboree Housing Corporation.

The team at Woodglen Vista organized a National Night Out, which featured attendees from the local Sheriffs and Fire Departments, Shred‐It and Health and Human Service to give discussions on fire, drug use, and identity‐theft prevention and independence services. Also accomplished was a partnership formed with the Grossmont Unified School District to create the National Lunch Program: Over 100+ lunches were served daily during the summer months to residents and the
surrounding neighborhood children.
